Financial Advisory for Philadelphia International Airport
IMG Rebel is an integral team member of the multidisciplinary project management oversight (PMO) team hired by the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to provide advisory services on for a number of planned improvements. IMG Rebel is serving as the financial advisor for the $7+ billion in planned improvements at PHL. These cover all aspects of the airport: landside, which includes activities such as parking and rental car facilities; airside, which encompasses items like runways and hangars; cargo; and ground access.

Transportation is essential for an airport
Integral to our work is a $300+ million Ground Transportation Center (GTC) that will include consolidated rental car, parking, and transit facilities.

Financing with innovation in mind
IMG Rebel is analyzing a number of financing options, leveraging our knowledge to consider using innovative finance mechanisms for this project. We are also assisting the airport evaluate innovative finance options for the GTC and considering innovative financing options for other facilities at the airport. IMG Rebel’s financial modelers designed a product to advise PHL on the timing and cost-effectiveness various financing sources including commercial paper and long-term debt. This model links with the airline rates and charges model and includes sophisticated scenario analysis capabilities.
